You may change your reservation up to 48 hours in advance, after that it is $20.00 to change the reservation. Changes must be made within 12 hours of your reservation time. Rides are non-refundable. If you can not make it on the day of your ride,
call by noon or at least 4 hours before your scheduled ride, whichever applies to your departure time, to reschedule or receive a voucher to use at another time.
Rain or Shine Policy
The Hitching Company will operate in the rain as our carriages all have tops on them for inclement weather. If the weather is deemed unsafe either by lightning, snow or extreme temperatures (90 degrees or hotter, 0 degrees or colder), The Hitching Company will contact you as soon as possible on the day of your ride to delay or re-schedule depending on the weather conditions. If the ride gets canceled due to weather, the customer may reschedule or a voucher will be issued.
Private Contracted Events
In the event the customer cancels two months or less before the scheduled date, there will be no refund or deposit returned. In the event of a complete weather disaster (thunderstorm, snowstorm, or extremely cold temperatures) The Hitching Company will refund everything except the deposit, within two weeks of the scheduled date. If The Hitching Company is there and there is lightning at the time of the ride, The Hitching Company will delay the start time by up to 1 hour or when the lightning stops whichever occurs first. If the Hitching Company is at the event there is no refund regardless of the weather. The top on the carriage is down year-round unless raining. If you would like the top-up you must request at least 24 hours in advance.
